Board Certified Family medicine physician

Dr Kumar moved to Texas in 2012 after finishing his residency at SUNY Buffalo NY. He loves staying here in Texas. He enjoys and learns from every moment of being son, brother, husband, father, coach, teacher, counselor and physician.

He lives with his lovely wife and two beautiful children. He likes to spend time with his family and create memories with them during his free time.

He strongly believes that a whole person approach is the best way to understand and provide best possible evidence base care to his patients. He works with his patients in shared decision making to achieve their goals, while focusing on preventative medicine and chronic medical conditions.

Dr Kumar has achieved numerous awards and has worked in different clinical settings including outpatient, inpatient and Teaching Attending Physician as adjunct ( Assistant Professor) with UNT Health Science center.
